Known for his unique bowling action, which he cheekily describes as having ‘two elbows’, Tariq has been making waves in the franchise circuit, recently fetching £140,000 from Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred auction. While his PSL 2026 stint with Quetta Gladiators didn't set the world alight—nine wickets at 33.55—his T20 World Cup performance was a different story. Tariq bagged 10 wickets in six matches, including a standout 2-31 against England. With a total of 89 T20 wickets at an economy of 6.95, he’s no stranger to success.
