Watch as Sharma takes SRH to a mammoth total against DC in IPL 2026!
Abhishek Sharma just made IPL history, smashing his first century of 2026 in style! The Sunrisers Hyderabad batter was on 92 when he faced Delhi Capitals' Nitish Rana in the 15th over. Instead of playing it safe, he went full send, launching a massive six straight down the ground. Then, with the crowd buzzing, he cranked another six over deep square leg to bring up his hundred.
But it wasn't all smooth sailing for SRH. After those two monstrous hits, disaster struck as Sharma's straight drive deflected off Rana's hands, hitting the stumps at the non-striker's end and sending captain Ishan Kishan packing. But with a stunning 135 not out, Sharma led SRH to an imposing total of 242 runs.
Heinrich Klaasen also played a blinder, adding a quick-fire 37 runs off just 13 balls at the end. What a match! Can SRH keep up this momentum in the tournament? Stay tuned!
