After the match, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant addressed the media, acknowledging his side's performance issues while also highlighting some positives from the game. "It's tough to pinpoint one area for concern. Our bowlers have shown potential, but we need to improve as a unit," he stated. Pant's tactical choice to open with Ayush Badoni aimed to inject some aggressive intent, but the plan fell flat against a dominant PBKS.

Despite the setback, Pant remains optimistic about the team's potential, stating, "We believe in this team, but we must give credit to Punjab for their hard cricket."
