Priyansh Arya almost snagged a hundred, finishing with a blistering 93 off 37 balls, while Connolly supported him with a fiery 87. Their onslaught helped PBKS set a mammoth target of 254 runs. Though LSG started strong with a 61-run powerplay, they crumbled under pressure, finishing at 204/5 despite Rishabh Pant’s 43.
Iyer praised his boys post-match, emphasising the importance of allowing players to express themselves. "When you let players be, they just deliver. That’s our mantra," he said. With their winning momentum intact, PBKS look set for an exciting season ahead. Can they keep this form rolling?
