Pakistan's Test squad is buzzing with fresh talent as they gear up for their two-match series against Bangladesh. With the first Test kicking off in Dhaka on May 8, four uncapped players are set to make their mark. Let’s dive into who these newcomers are and what they bring to the table.

First up is Amad Butt, the fast-bowling all-rounder who’s been on the radar since his first-class debut in 2015. With 205 wickets under his belt and a stellar season in the President's Trophy, where he took 32 wickets at an impressive average of 19.21, Butt is ready to unleash his skill on the Test stage. His role in defending a mere 40 runs in a match-winning effort shows he thrives under pressure.

Next, we have Abdullah Fazal, the 23-year-old left-handed opener who dominated the President's Trophy with 622 runs at an average of 51.83. His ability to score quickly was evident in the National T20 Cup, where he shone with a blistering 88*. With a solid first-class record, he’s definitely one to watch.

Azan Awais, another promising opener, has been racking up runs in style. After finishing as the top scorer in his debut Quaid-e-Azam Trophy season, he continued to impress in the President's Trophy. His overall tally of 2673 runs in 33 matches at an average of 48.60, including 10 centuries, is no small feat.

Last but not least, wicketkeeper-batter Muhammad Ghazi Ghori is also making waves. Fresh off his ODI debut, he was the second-highest run-scorer in the recent President's Trophy, showcasing his ability to contribute significantly with the bat. With a solid first-class average and international experience, he’s poised to make a splash in the Test arena.

Can these young guns elevate Pakistan's Test game against Bangladesh? We’re all geared up to find out!
